Hello from Kosova

It is actually cool in Kosova now! I've never experienced that before. It's always been hot when I was here. But it's good. It has rained. The land really needed that, cause it's been dry for the past weeks. So thank the Lord for the rain. Also thank God that almost the entire team has arrived safely. Today another team member is arriving, Daniela, she's from Romania.

Things have changed in Kosova since I've last been here. There's a lot of building going on. Bussinesses are being founded, there's a lot of activity. Thank God for new opportunities and pray that the poor will benefit as well. I've had a realxed weekend in Pristina with Lorik and Tinka, son and daughter of the pastor, and our translators. It was good to speak to them again and see where they live and to meet some of Tinka's friends. I also met two translators from last year. It was good to see them. Thank God for all young people in Kosova who have given their lives to Him and pray that they will find strength in Him to keep going and face the challenges here everyday, it's so much harder for them to be Christians here than it is for us.

Pray for energy for the clubs that are starting tomorrow. Thank God for the gifts that have been given for the book project. At least nine kids can take part in the projects because of these gifts and maybe more gifts are coming in?? For the dutch readers go to www.ecmnl.nl/kosovo to read about the book project.

Pray for us while we will be going up the mountains this weekend. The plan is to invite villagers from Qyshk (small town near Peja) and people from the Roma community. If both communities will come that would be really great, cause there is still some animosity between the villagers and the Roma. Pray that people from both communities come up with us to the mountains and that it will help the healing of the relationship. Pray for safety in the mountains (and that we won't be cold ;-)

Thank you for praying for us
Marjan

p.s. If any of the Bellymena-team read this: You really made an impression. Come again.
